Basically, there's a giant robot named Voltron, which is formed by five giant lion-shaped robots which form the arms, legs, and head+torso of Voltron. Those Lions are often of a diff color each, with the canon Voltron being a black head\torso lion, red and green arm lions, and blue and yellow leg lions. Those Lions get piloted by Paladins, usually random teenagers whose personality fits the specific lion and who have some of the lion colors on their civilian outfits. The Lions were built in a planet named Altea, being the Altean military's main weapon. On Altea, there's a species also named the alteans, which are basically space elves. The last two alteans were the princess (but nothing says you can't have a prince in a Voltron AU) and the royal chancellor\advisor. |
